SEATTLE, WA. April 23, 2007 - Asset Management International (AMI) today announced that CA, Inc. has certified AMI’s AssetTrack mobile asset tracking solution as interoperable with CA Unicenter Asset Portfolio Management (CA Unicenter APM).

Through integration with CA Unicenter APM, AssetTrack enables customers to use mobile devices to access, update and audit their asset management repositories. AssetTrack's mobile devices, equipped with barcode and RFID scanners, make it easy to capture CA Unicenter APM baseline inventory data, tag and track assets at the receiving dock, and audit and reconcile assets in Unicenter APM. AssetTrack also provides system administrators with the tools to validate, review and clean collected data before it is entered into CA Unicenter APM, helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of Unicenter APM databases.

CA Unicenter APM is part of CA IT Asset & Financial Management, a solution that helps manage assets through their life cycle and helps manage IT expenditures from budgeting through cost allocation.

AssetTrack has received ca smart certification, which is awarded to products that integrate seamlessly with CA solutions, enabling customers to exploit best-in-class enterprise technologies while minimizing cost, time-to-benefit and risk.
